Top Ten Romantic Manga
My journey is over! And we had a good time, a good fucking time. But a blogger totally flaked and did not show the client that I wrote for them, let alone the comments signed for. So to make up for it, I publish the list today. I never thought to check manga? This is your chance!
Oh, Japanese manga, I love you? Let me count the ways I suck, I run my credit card, and leaves me in a ball of laughter and tears. There are many ways that Nogiku my series and manga. I love writing, complex strong characters indulge in a wink or a blank stare. I can not think of many moments in the manga, where a whole page is devoted to a brief moment, and that's when you fall completely in love with a character. If you do not feel the same about when Sanaa holding a sword for the first time or when Jiro Sanaa request for a date, so I'm doing something wrong as a writer.
Before I give you my top ten choices for romantic Japanese manga, let me explain that there are two basic types of manga: Shonen Shojo and. (In fact, there are many more, including more explicit guys like hentai and yaoi, and many others, I will not go into here. Google, if you're interested.)
Shonen Manga is marketed to a young male audience of 10-18 years. Includes more than kick your ass, fighting, etc. Shojo Manga sold at a female audience, 10 to 18 years and includes more than romantic relationships (not always), school situations and Fantasties.
For the purposes of this list, I chose all Shojo manga, I like! I admit. Manga breathed easily. And if I have a book I'm reading, you'll find me reading manga.
10. Vampire Knight - my first recommendation, presented a manga have not read yet, but everyone speaks and is on my tail. This is a vampire boarding school where normal people come to class during the day, and vampires come at night. There is a whole backstory with the main character, Yuki, who was saved by a vampire as a small child, and the story includes many love interests. The story is now complete, so you can get them and be sure your order!
9. Nana - This is another I have not read but heard is beautiful and sweet, and also on my tail (I really need more time). These two young men called Nana, who meet and become roommates accidentally in Tokyo. It tells the life trying to do in the big city. The author has been ill for some time, but from what I understand, is to finish the series.
8. Boys Over Flowers - It was a super popular manga that has been transformed into a Korean drama that is probably one of the most talked about and recommended the first Korean dramas of all time issues. Seriously, if you ask someone, "I want to start watching K-dramas, where do I start?" Most people react with Boys Over Flowers. Remember that it was first a Japanese manga!
7. Maid-sama! - I have only halfway through this series before I sucked at the reviews on my own books and really is a gem. The plot of this me laugh out loud. Lead, Misaki is a tough-as-nails heroine trying to reform their school recently a mixed school. She rebels against all the bad guys! I love her! But she is poor and need to earn money for her hostess at a local café cleaning (You know what? There is a Manhattan now!) The hot guy in school is closed and strikes a deal with him. You will have to read to find out.
6. Debut High School - I love this manga very well who is ill. Haruna is a former baseball player, the type of athlete type of girl who knows nothing about romance. So she convinces Yoh, the coolest guy in school, his coach at romance. So many shenanigans ensue and all the time you are in favor of that are. Sigh. It is fantastic.
5. Fruits Basket - This manga is classic for ages now (since 1998). What I like about it is that family members heroin, Tohru, live with all owned by members of the Chinese Zodiac. How is it random? And it's a great device such plot. It becomes a positive influence in their lives and help break the curse that granted them. If you need a long sleeve with many episodes, this is for you. It goes well for a very long time.
4. Kyou Koi wo Hajimemasu - Plain Jane meets cool Lucas. I must admit it is hard to find and the English translation of this name, "Today our love begins," It is terrible, but oh, the hero is so good. If you like men chiseled in his novel go with that. It is also one of the few shojo manga I read where the couple goes all the way, and the design of it is enough to make you a fan.
3. Kimi no Todoke - The principle behind this me laugh out loud. Have you seen Ringu, the original Japanese horror film that comes before the ring? The main female character Kimi no Todoke, Sawako, just like Sadako ring, so called Sadako and everyone is afraid of it. But she is super soft and shy and completely harmless. There are so many great moments in this manga, where the other characters are freaked out by it and is like giving them chocolate or something sweet and nice. A cold child full of her, but she is awkward and unsure what to do. Totally cute and comforting.
2. Shinobi Life - This is the only manga I fell in love after the first few pages. In fact, I named a character in the Nogiku, Beni series, after the main character of the same. Travel Time Ninja ordinary day today think Beni is a princess and must protect it. There is a curse on his family and a lot of time traveling back and forth between the feudal and modern Japan Japan. I was blown away madly, but I was so in love with Kagetora, his sword, its mystery, its ... * fans self * Say worth reading!
1. Love * Com - And finally my number ONE ... Lovely Complex or Love * Com for short. The first place was won because it is not only romantic, but it's fun as hell. I had to stop reading in bed at night because I woke my husband with all my laughter. Risa (I named another character in the series after Nogiku!) The big girl in class and Atsushi is small. His teacher still joking that are a comedy act as "All Hanshin Kyojin" and although the ribs gets on your nerves, they manage to get along for some time. Then fall from the other. This manga was great amazing moments infarction that make you believe in true love. I cried reading several times because it was so perfect. You will not be disappointed with this.
I would be remiss if it did not say how to read most of these. Many I bought on Amazon, but there is a great application for iPhone, iPad and Android called MangaStorm. It has lots of manga I listed above. Read and enjoy!
